Jason Lowe Bodybuilder Obituary News: IFBB Pro bodybuilder and Olympian, Jason Lowe Dies At 38

The bodybuilding community was rocked by the sudden and tragic passing of IFBB Pro bodybuilder Jason Lowe at the age of 38. Lowe, who was known for his dedication, impressive physique, and competitive spirit, suffered a heart attack while training, and his death has left fans, friends, and fellow athletes mourning worldwide. The news was confirmed by his wife, Ashley Lowe, on Thursday, who shared a heartfelt tribute to her husband and the life they shared.

According to Ashley, Jason was in his garage training when he unexpectedly collapsed. An autopsy has not yet been performed, so the precise cause of death remains undetermined. However, the shock and grief surrounding his sudden departure have been palpable across the bodybuilding community, which has come together to remember one of its talented and hardworking athletes.

In her emotional message, Ashley Lowe expressed her profound grief and admiration for her husband. โ€œToday will be the hardest day of my life. I donโ€™t know if words will ever be enough to hold what you meant to me because they all feel so small in comparison. You made me a better version of myself, and you were going to be the absolute best dad. Saying that Iโ€™m devastated doesnโ€™t even begin to touch the depth of this loss. Iโ€™m sitting here in our backyard writing this in your Olympia jacket, trying to feel close to you, trying to make sense of a world that already feels different without you in it,โ€ she shared.

Jason Loweโ€™s journey in bodybuilding began over a decade ago, and he quickly made a name for himself with his dedication and impressive physique. He competed at the highest levels of the sport, earning multiple top-three finishes and making appearances on the Olympia stage twice. His most recent competition was just a day before his passing, where he shared a training video on social media, showing that he was still actively pursuing his passion for bodybuilding.

Loweโ€™s rise in the sport started early. He began training intensely at a young age, and as his physique improved, he transitioned into competitive bodybuilding. His first significant achievement was earning his Pro Card at the NPC Junior USA Championships in the Classic Physique division, which marked the beginning of his professional career in 2017. That same year, he competed twice at the pro level, quickly establishing himself as a rising star.

His first major victory came at the 2018 San Antonio Pro, where he claimed his first professional win. The following year, Lowe made his Olympia debut, finishing 16th, a notable milestone for any bodybuilder. Throughout 2020, he competed in some of the sportโ€™s biggest shows, including a second-place finish at the New York Pro in the 212 division. His transition from Classic Physique to the 212 division proved successful, and he competed in the 212 Olympia that year, showcasing his versatility and determination.

In the subsequent years, Lowe remained an active competitor, participating in events such as the Chicago Pro and Orlando Pro, often finishing in respectable positions. As recently as 2025, he competed twice, finishing ninth at both the Texas Pro and Tampa Pro. His consistent presence on the pro stage reflected his unwavering passion for bodybuilding and his desire to continually improve.
